I like my pale ales with a little more malt backbone. This one is just ok. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 23, 2007 12 oz bottle from shadey. Clear orange amber color with med white head. Aroma was a lot of orange and other citrus hops with caramel and sweet malt. Flavor was mildly citrus bitterness with a mild pine finish, also pretty hefty malt backbone to balance out this beer pretty well. Medium body with low carb. Pretty nice American style IPA. I’m not sure me and Drewbeerme got a bottle from the same six pack though because mine smelled and tasted fine. f351c4v (404), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Muchos gracias shadey. Pours a copper amber with a thin yellowish head. Very nice nose. Sweet hops, cascades make sense, peach/apricot fruit, and an almost peppery aroma. The flavor was a bit weak, mild bitterness, some sweetness, and mild fruit. Tasted like the nose toned down a lot. The palate was weak for an IPA. WeeHeavySD (2962), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

Orange amber with a thick creamy tan head that has since faded since I ran away from the computer. Light and sweet hoppy nose. Taste is sweet, lightly hoppy and a very subtle bitterness. This is a pretty tasty IPA, not bad at all. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA
