Southern Tier IPA

12oz bottle spills out a nice pour with lasting tan head. Pretty full aroma with floral hops and sweet malts. The taste starts with a somewhat viscous mouth feel that greets my taste buds with a solid lightly roasted maltiness. Then the floral hops enter in an un-assuming manner. Beyond midway a slight medicinal flavors rises up to hinder the experience some.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a moderate, yellow-white head. Very, very mild aroma of malt with no citrus or pine detected at all, which I thought odd for an IPA. Some mild caramel and grapefruit notes come through in the flavor, but again very mild. Some bitterness at the finish. Unremarkable.

12oz - Aroma is mostly malts, caramel and earty hops that become stronger as the brew warms. Pours transparent copper with a small ring for head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma with the hops flexing thier muscles. Palate is sticky and tart at first, then turns creamy. A well balanced ipa.

Bottle. Pours a burnt golden in color with a fluffy white head. A ton of hops with a fresh citrusy aroma that shows evident in the flavor as well. Clean and crisp, proving an excellent example of the style.

On tap at Mr. Goodbar. Poured a dark redish gold with a thick white head. There was a lot of citrus and hops in the aroma which carried over into the taste, along with some bites of pine and lemon grass. Very good ale.

Pours a clear golden brown with very little foam and head, a very prominent aroma of hops is followed by a mildly bitter tasting beer... has a nice finish to it

Bottle. semi hazy gold color with small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, mainly grapefruit. The taste was of citrus hops and light caramel. Medium body. Good bitter finish. Weird, the flavors vanish quickly from the mouth.
