swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Jan 16, 2007 Updated: Jan 17, 2007on tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Deep amber orange in color with nice 2 finger head. Big hop nose with citrus presence. Medium bodied & a well crafted IPA. one of the better East coast IPA’s out there. nhorween (639), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 16, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber color with a foamy, off-white head. Nice, full hop aroma with a good floral background. Also some citrus in there (limes) and a bit of yeast. Decent flavor also, really chewy, but not as good as the aroma. Really well balanced, I would say, but nothing fantastic. Body is a bit thin, but there is a nice full bitter finish. I’m pleasantly suprised. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jan 14, 2007 Bottle. Clear orange/copper with a big craggy off-white head, leaving striped and patchy lacing. Sweet aromas of caramel and orangey hops. Flavor of caramel and toffee malts infused with citrus and grassy hops. An interesting red apple peel note as well. Seems fruitier than other IPAs. Nice spicy finish. Pretty good. DeaconBluez (4), Alabama, USA does not count Jan 13, 2007 pours a nice deep amber color. head is of an off white color. very citusy and piney smell. hints of biscuits and caramels. taste is of sweet malts that gives way to fruity hops. the taste is really well balanced. mouthfeel is somewhat creamy. just the right amount of carbonation. this is an great ipa. i would love to get a sixer of this. would make for a pretty good session beer. holdenn (1432), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 9, 2007 12 oz bottle courtesy of drewbeerme.
