UPDATED: AUG 28, 2011 (bottle) This is my first sample from this brewer and it does not disappoint. The flavor is rich and faithful to the style. A great mix of hops to dominate without pushing it too far. The RB webmaster needs to update the photo for this bottle.

It was like delicately nibbling on the branches of a freshly cut Christmas tree full of tin ornaments and live, bare electrical wires.
I’d describe it as coniferous and astringent with a long finish, redolent of ozone. Now that’s flavor!

Draught @ O’Hara’s, Tampere.
Pours a slightly hazy yellow colour with a small, thick and chunky lacy head. Aroma of sweet apricot, grapefruit and some caramel. Flavour of sweet fruits, grapefruit, caramel malts and a decent amount of American hops. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finish of floral hops, grapefruit and some tangy, sweet, ripe fruit notes. Too sweet for me.

Pours clear copper colour with small head. Aroma is sweet caramel, malts, ripe fruits, grass and some toffee at the end. Flavour is sweet caramel and malts, resin, fruits and a familiar ST sweetness. Decent sweet IPA, nothing special.

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of floral/pine hops, citrus, & some caramel malt; Flavor of malt, pine hops, caramel, citrus (notably grapefruit), and some spice; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, solid IPA.

Bottle. Pour is dark gold with a good off-white head. Aroma is pine, resin, citrus, caramel. Flavor is hop forward with lots of pine/citrus and a sweet malt. Palate is oily, sticky, with a bitter finish.

Golden with a white head. Aromas of pine, citrus and zests. Very malty body with lots of sweetness. With the piney aroma it actually works quite well. Good hoppy finish with bitterness from grass and pine

Sűrű, sötétebb méz sárga színe van, ami opálosan átláthatatlan. Habja vékony, krémes, sűrű és tapadós. Illata aszalt sárgabarackos, melaszos, édeskés és mezei virágos. Először egy kellemes, aszalt gyümölcsös, mézes édességgel indul, aztán egyből jön a sok komló irgalmat nem adó keserűje egy kis csípős fűszerességgel és gyógynövényekkel. Kissé olajos, közepesen testes és kevés apró buborékkal rendelkezik. Utóíze keserédesen kezdődik, ami a végén egy markáns, füves keserűbe megy át és teljesen kiszárítja a szánkat. Nagyon érdekes és figyelemreméltó IPA, ami olyan, mintha átmenet lenne az angol és az amerikai fajta testvérek között.
