Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, cookie), moderately hoppy (apricot, flowers, resin), with a note of black tea. Flavor is moderately malty, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Surprisingly balanced and docile for an American IPA...guess it’s because it’s East Coast style. A little more malt in the mouth would be very welcomed, but it’s fine as-is.

Nov 8, 2009 Clear orange-amber with a small, white head that diddn’t last long. Light citrus and pine nose with a little bit of fruit and some caramel malt. Sweet malty flavor fades into light bitterness. This one is more on the English side of ipa’s. Nice flavor and drinkable, but nothing spectacular.

Nov 5, 2009 A hazy orange pour with small white head. Sweet floral and citrus hop aroma. It has a lively mouthfeel, grassy flavor, and long bitter finish.

Nov 3, 2009 355ml bottle from De Molen beer shop. Copper amber colour. Pretty decent IPA, Good piney hoppy aroma, ok malts in the middle, bit of unsubtle alcohol, then more leafy piney hops on the end. Just something not quite smooth about it, maybe just a bit too boozy?? Some juicy malts. Good aroma, decent attempt, but as I say, the heat is just a bit obvious.

Nov 2, 2009 Bottle... Poured a clear orange with a white head. Aroma of hops both floral and bittering with noticeable malts creating a dark sweetness. Very balanced IPA, vibrant, sweet, grassy, and earthy. Finished with a bouquet of hops and sweet fruits.

Oct 26, 2009 I don’t know how I haven’t rated this beer before. Pours copper with an small off white head. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops. Decent malt balance with some nice bitterness at the end. Solid IPA.

Oct 26, 2009 Golden pour with an off-white moderate head. Decent amount of hops, spice, and citrus. Crisp and dry with the hops dominating the flavor. Very good.

Oct 22, 2009 Bottle pours clear copper color with off white head. Aroma is grass, flowery hops, and caramel malt. Luscious mouthfeel. Flavors are typical IPA with grass and some lemon with a semi sweet finish. A decent brew.

Oct 14, 2009 Bottle, 12 fl. oz. Pours a golden beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is hops with notes of sweetness. The flavor is hops with citrus and grapefruit. The palate leaves good bitterness. Overall a really good beer.
