Commercial Description:
IPA stands for India Pale Ale and ours is an American version of the classic style. IPA’s namesake lies in its colonial roots. British soldiers on their way to India dark a lot of beer, but found it would go stale on the long voyages. Meanwhile, brewers knew that by adding more hops, the beer would stay fresh. Voila! A new style was born and it is one we are proud to brew. Southern Tier IPA is a triple-hopped on its journey to your glass for a fully aromatic experience.

Bottle. Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished with poor lacing, carbonated, transparent, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, caramel, pine, grapefruit and hops. Flavor was malty, hoppy, bitter, and citrus. Mostly smooth palate.

Bottle. Murky amber with a short white head. Luscious citrus and pine drenched aroma with a lighter malt backbone and soft caramel. Taste is strong citrus hops, floral hops, sweet malt, light caramel, apricot, pear and orange peel. Body is medium, slightly oily and very bubbly. Finishes with a softer hop bite, more citrus notes, light caramel, pear, floral hops and light spicy hops. Nice!

Happy Deli, NYC, 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, dark orange with a thick fluffy white head with thick creamy lacing. Floral aroma, fresh, some mint. West coast hoppiness is evident, but not overdone. Some nuttiness in the background, a bi of mellow frutiness, not the usual graprefruity onslaught. Very thick creamy mouthfeel. Above average.

Bottle. Orangish color. Citrus, grass, pine hops. Flavor is bitter with some good pine and grapefruit peel. Decent malt bill keeps this from being over the top with hops.

12oz bottle via shadey shared with bikesandbeer. Orange amber with a thick creamy tan head that has since faded since I ran away from the computer. Light and sweet hoppy nose. Taste is sweet, lightly hoppy and a very subtle bitterness. This is a pretty tasty IPA, not bad at all.

Bottle. clear deep orange, large thick white vanilla head. strong aroma, nicely hoppy, pine, grapefruit. flavor is pine, grapefruit, sugar, good balance between grapefruity bitter hops, and malty sweetness. quite dry. ends as it tastes. overall a very tasty, mild and drinkable ipa, yet still some punch in the hops.

Rich copper beer with a thick creamy head and lacing. Strong citrus but not overpowering hop aroma. Good malt presence and body. Hop flavour from start to finish. A solid rendition.

Bottle thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Pours with a small off white head and a clear orange body. Good lacing. Aroma is citrus (orange) hops, and some caramel malt and a bit of honey. Taste is citrus hops and toffee. Lively carbonation and a water like mouthfeel.
