COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

Bottle from Kenny Road Market, poured into snifter. Pours black with a finger of tan head. The aroma is full of coffee with some caramel malt notes. The flavor is similar, but the coffee really takes charge over the anise, coffee, and hop flavors. Full bodied and robust. Good stuff.

The aroma of this brew is lightly hinting at coffee and cocoa, and the color is an opaque black with a small tan head. The taste is delectable with its mild sweetness and slight bitterness, and the palate complements this nicely with its soft carbonation, bitter finish, thick creamy texture, and medium body.

Bomber. Thanks to Tmac220 for sharing with me! Poured a deep, dark brown with a minimal light brown head. Aroma was a little coffee and some chocolate. The flavor followed, and was fairly creamy and just a little sweet. I liked this one a lot, and would seek it out again.

Jah va pours a deep black brown with a thin head of light brown bubbles. Nose is raisins, mocha and molasses. Rich roasty malt with mildly sweet oat presence and a medium roasted coffee flavor. Medium silky body. Finishes with a nice roasty bitterness.

Bottle. Pours black with some brown around the edges, no head to speak of. A dense looking imperial stout. The aroma has coffee bean, some light chocolate, and a bit of alcohol. The taste has a medium roasted coffee with some additional sweetness on the finish. Of all the ST stouts, this is by far the weakest i’ve had. Not bad but not great.

Bottle. Heavy toasted, dark chocolate, strong coffee and molasses for the malt, faint herbs for the hops, light earth for the yeast, with background notes of toffee, vanilla and cola. Head is small, frothy/fizzy, tan with a few spots of lacing with good legs and is almost fully diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor starts heavily sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, to full, creamy to syrupy in texture and has a soft carbonation and a moderately alcoholic finish. A little too sweet for me, but the mouthfeel of this Imperial Stout made it way too easy to drink. Tasted just like desert, and just like the bottle says, don’t drink it right out of the fridge.

Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton. American pint glass. Pours a very dark brown, opaque with a light brown-orange thin head. The nose is quite pleasant with overwhelming milk chocolate, coffee and booze. The taste is dark chocolate, cream, slightly bitter from the coffee, prunes, and alcohol. The mouth is very smooth, silky creamy and finish is slight coffee bitterness. Only drawback is the finish is very sweet.

Pours dark with a small, dark tan head. Dark fuit, slightly sour, licorice aroma. Taste is creamy, lightly bitter chocolate and coffee...roasty. A little too sweet and boozy.
