Commercial Description:
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

Tasted at Ezra’s Imp Stout tasting--Poured a dark black-brown body with a fluffy tan head. This was all about darkness, creaminess and jah-va!!! Chewy, malty, toffee, creamy chocolate. I have to reiterate! Yum! Bitter hops and acidic coffee finish. More coffee than necessary, but that’s the point right?

Thick black pour.Nutty colored head. Roasty aroma, first mouthfeel is malty/hoppy followed by cofee. Leaves a big aftertaste of coffee/mocha. The taste of coffee is hidden in part because of the high volume 12ABV. Would def. try more of this great imperial stout.

Bottle courtesy Gillard. Pours black with a one finger tan head that leaves good lacing. Heavy aroma of coffee roasted malt, and bitter chocolate. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium full mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and very smooth alcohol. Damn good.

Dark brown with a fleeting tan head. Big roasted nut and grain aroma. Smooth medium body. Fairly dry flavors of rich, roasted malts and nuts mirrors the aroma. Has a nice mocha bitter sweetness to finish. Nice

Really nice beer. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted coffee and booze. Has a strong taste of coffee and booze with a hint of vanilla. Very little carbonation to this one, nice bitter finish.

22oz bottle. I’ve gotten one of these n each of my last 3 trades and that’s a good thing. Pours thick and black with a thin creamy brown head, some lace, some oily residue on the side of the glass. Smells like coffee, strong coffee, slightly sweet, with a bit of a coffee ground scent as well. Taste is big and dark. Lots of roasty malt, coffee and chocolate flavors. Slightly sweet up front, bitter on the finish. Thick, syrupy, oily mouthfeel. Nice carbonation to compliment the viscosity of this brew.

22 oz. bottle - thanks to after4ever for this treat; equally as brash and bold as the choklat in the aromas and flavors, but much more drinkable and enjoyable to me; jet black with thin tan head; aromas and flavors are all coffee and not for the weak at heart; smooth and nutty; just delicious
