Commercial Description:
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

winter ’07 bomber by way of shadey... a viscous black pour leaves a creamy brown head and a fuzzy coating in the glass until the last sip. the aroma near room temperature is very baltic like... vinous, oat, vanilla, licorice, fruity/prune, chocolate, coffee and wood. aroma carries over to the flavor... monstrously robust! it’s a bit sweet but not overly. it finishes with a light ashiness/astringent and mild alcohol burn. the aftertaste is slightly sweet with more chocolate and coffee. super creamy body with an incredibly velvety texture. the coffee isn’t as pronounced as i thought it was going to be. but, even without it this beer is brilliant.

Bottle. [thank you Yespr]
Wow... wow... WOW. Why is this not in the top 50? Pours pitch-black with slight red edges and a great big creamy head. Perhaps I need a spoon for this head? Aroma is brilliant, vinious, cocoa and lots of coffee. Thankfully this is a great coffee, lending a distinct mildness to the brew, not the usual coffee tartness. Mouthfeel is stunningly creamy, much like a much softer oatmeal stout. Flavour is no let-down. Much like a Kaggen (as Yespr said), though not quite as complex. Lots of cocoa, I am surprised that this hasn’t been oak aged, actually. Brilliant balance and super softness. If I have to critique the almost perfect, then it might be the slightly up-turned ABV, lending the beer a slight alcohol burn in the finish. But this is really a minor niggle - truly stunning!

[Courtesy of yespr, session @ yespr] Black with nice brown head. Aroma is sweet with roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Sweet roated malt in the aroma that also holds chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Well balanced and round. Nice alcohol burn in the end. Lovely! Thanks again yespr.

The aroma is killer, beautiful roasty coffee scent. The appearance is the jet black of a stout, with the tinge of brown. It has a brown/tan head that very quickly dissipates. The flavor is beautiful as well. It is naturally of roasted coffee, with the sweetness of chocolate and caramel. Nice sweetness on the palate, with a nice thick oily mouthfeel. Definitely a winner.

holy of all mother, for a coffe lover like me this is fantastic, best of the evening, clearly knocked out three top 50 brews during the evening. 75 cL bottle, trade with ygtbsm94. Pours almost pitch black with dense chocolate brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma, alcohol presence. Flavour is a lovely blend of coffee and a smooth chocolate, yet with a nice alcohol warmth. Very smooth and just keeps lingering. Fantastic, reminds me a lot of kaggen stormagtsporter! This is a top 50 brew in my book.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, another great session @ yespr] Huge light brown thick and creamy head that really lasted. Excellent lacework Pitch black colour. Aroma of heavy roasted coffee and malt, dark chocolate, hint of liquorish, berries, very vinous. Over the palate warming alcoholic sharpness, sweet chocolate, coffee, oat, hint of what feels like vanilla and wood. Extremely complex and full bodied with a smooth and alcoholic texture and a soft carbonation. Yet some thick oily texture. Heavy sweet with moderated bitter flavour. Lovely lingering vinous and chocolate finish. I thought this was dead on.

Intense coffe icecream scent, one of the strongest scents i have ever experianced in a beer. Super dark black with a very dark beige, very large disapearingly quickly head. Taste - also one of the boldest, intense tasting beers ever! Mocha latte coffee just screams in the taste. Also tastes like mocha coffee ice cream, roasted coffee beans, creamy sweet, deliciously intense. Thick malty bold mouth filling body. Sweet coffee finish. I can go on, but i will just say this beer is nuts, totally intense and nothing like i have ever tasted. Their Chok stout is chocolately nuts, and this is mocha coffee nuts. Not a traditional hop, malt, barely tasting beer experiance, but one that every beer ratter should try, amazing!
