Commercial Description:
Three thousand feet above sea level in the misty mountains of Jamaica, some of the worlds finest Arabica beans are hand picked on their way to becoming Blue Mountain Coffee. Halfway around the world, plump spring barley grows to maturity in the loamy soil of North America while aromatic hops are cutivated to exacting standards. Here in our kettles, these three special ingredients are blended to create a heady mixture of sweet sugar, dark roast, and complex flavor. Please enjoy this brew in moderation.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of coffee and chocolate, but also light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet againg with strong notes of coffee, leading to a dry bitter roasted coffee end. The mouthfeel is a smooth alcoholic one, and the body is thick. Nice coffee beer.

(Bottle 65 cl) Completely brown and opaque with a light brown head. Sweetish, burned aroma with some ashy touches. Extremely full-bodied, rich and sweet body. Tons of roasted malts with lightly burned accents. Fat and sweet finish with bitter, burned notes and an almost prune like character. Yummy - but in small doses only. 130806

[Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] Pours thick pitch black without a trace of a head. Slivovic-like plum brandy aroma burning of alcohol. Veru sweet. Some coffee simmers in a sea of syrup and alcohol. The mouthfeel is cloyingly thick, and beneath lies some sharp malt. Achingly sugary finish with extreme amounts of alcohol coming through, despite the overly ramped up sweetness. The nice coffee flavour is the one redeeming feature in this concotion. Oh, and in what way is Jamaica halfway around the world from North America?

holy of all mother, for a coffe lover like me this is fantastic, best of the evening, clearly knocked out three top 50 brews during the evening. 75 cL bottle, trade with ygtbsm94. Pours almost pitch black with dense chocolate brown head. Chocolate and coffee aroma, alcohol presence. Flavour is a lovely blend of coffee and a smooth chocolate, yet with a nice alcohol warmth. Very smooth and just keeps lingering. Fantastic, reminds me a lot of kaggen stormagtsporter! This is a top 50 brew in my book.

Bottled (thanks PilsnerPeter!). Black colour with some rubyish hints. Aroma is coffee, hops, some chocolate and tobacco. Mild licorice too. Flavour is roasted coffee, burnt wood, ashes, tobacco and some slight notes of fruity hops. Very pleasant.
