4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Growler from the Craft Ale House in Limerick. Clear copper color with a soft and bubbly white head. The head leaves a cascading, sticky lace around the edges of the glass. Bright hops in the nose along with some hint of roasted malts. Clean and crisp flavors, with plenty of grassy and dry hops. I also tasted some caramel malt and some roasted malt flavors. Very clean and dry finish with more bitter hops in the aftertaste. Excellent imperial helles / pilsener.

This beer was packaged nicely and had a high alcohol content. After that it kinda goes down hill. The worth a try but don’t expect anything earth moving

Draft sample at Manahawkin Spirits. Pours a cloudy deep golden color with a foamy off white head. Aroma was malty, slightly yeasty, with notes of fresh citrus, and a hint of pine. Taste of sweet grains, citrus, and a hint of pine.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent light copper with foamy off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells mildly malty, grainy, and hoppy with a lightly sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, only more semi-sweet than sweet. Average on the palate. Okay, but forgettable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper body with sweet and hoppy aroma. Tastes like a pale ale. Hops definitly there with a mild body. Definitly a hybrid style but I’d call this a pale ale, if I didn’t know it used lager yeast. Too sweet. Grows on you, yet still an awkward concoction for me.
