Bottle. Amber color. Nice white head. Sort of light in aroma with a hint of malt. Kind of smells and tastes malty and grainy. Hops not overwhelming but nice nuance. Very good beer overall.

Bomber---> snifter. Pours dark copper with a small soapy head. Aroma is muted pine and grain. Tastes like it smells with a minor caramel note mixed in. A little more bitter on the back end then I would have expected. A little too grainy for my taste. Palate is kind of thin and under-carbonated. Not so sure about this one.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2012 Draft at lucky lab. Pours clear copper with a big white head. The aroma Is hoppy with pine and floral notes. The taste is medium bitter with a light sweetness. This is an interesting version of the style with a nice pop on the tongue. Minor alcohol present.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat spicy, grainy, kind of thick toasty, light caramel malty aroma. Light citrus fruity, sticky, somewhat piney hoppy, toasty syrupy malty, light caramel, bready flavor with a thick, somewhat thick, a bit boozy finish. Not all that hard to drink but it’s kind of lacking in character.

Bomber. Poured on the eve of St. Nick even! Amber in appearance with a short lived head, oily head. Plenty of lacing throughout. Hop bitterness is up front, balanced by caramel malts. Some grapefruit, some pine, some warming alcohol. Kinda blurs the line with an IPA. Nice beer that packs a punch on a cold Wisconsin night!

Fairly hoppy beer, powerful aroma and great head. It’s a strong beer and you know it.

This is an extremely hoppy beer but with a smooth finish, it grows on you the more you drink, it's a beer that I would be ok with only having once

Clear amber color with a foamy beige head that left sheets of lacing on the glass. White bread and hair spray nose. Sweet fruity flavors with some apple and strawberry under some bready malts and corn flakes. Alcohol evaporation in the finish. Okay but not that interesting.

On draft at whole foods. Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Light malt aroma. Hints of caramel. Bitter finish.
