12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy golden amber color. The head is a two finger white shade with a frothy-looking texture. It doesn’t have the best retention in the world, either. S: There are some decent tropical qualities on the nose. I also note touches of grass, pine, and grapefruit. Aromatically, it’s hardly explosive, just oh-so-pleasant. T: It’s initially mildly bitter, with notes of piny hops and a bit of mango. I particularly enjoy the midtaste and its subtle fruit esters. The finish sees a return of piny bitterness. What it lacks in excitement it makes up for in drinkability. M: I think it’s a hair too fizzy and sharp on the back end - otherwise, I have little to complain about here, as the light, dry texture makes it eminently drinkable. O: Very easy to like. Granted, it’s not a fresh bottle, but beggars can’t be choosers, really. This really works well as simple refreshment.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of a generous trader. Thanks! Slight gusher. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a bubbly, off white head. Very big citrusy, moderately spicy, light piney hoppy, a bit bready aroma. Somewhat chewy yeasty, spicy, lightly dank, big citrusy hoppy flavor. Pretty damn good.

Whole Foods, Bowery 12oz ($2): Pours hazy peach with a white head. Aroma is just of weed. Taste is really fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, citrus) with a nice bitter finish and a sustained and mild aftertaste. Well-balanced and easily sessionable.

Bottle. Amber pour with a short, fizzy white head. Floral hops, citrus (mainly lemon) and soft malt notes in the aroma. Taste is lemony with more citrus notes, floral hops, soft malt, and light bready notes. Light-medium in body with a slightly prickly, medium carbonation. Ends with more citrus (again, lemon is dominant), floral notes, sweet malt and bread.

12oz bottle poured lighter yellow color not as dark as I expected. Big puffy white head. Medium body with a big citrus nose. The flavor is a refreshing punch in the face of citra hops and malt. Well balanced throughout. This could be my newest best apa. The hop bitterness doesn’t linger on the tongue you get that initial punch and then it quietly fades.

there is a significant downtrend to the wonderful fruit and hop aroma when your nose is closest and the more caustic and bitter grapefruit right up front in the taste. depending on the condition you are drinking under that could be great or not so. clean besides that as it is caustic without funky malt or metal. yeast apparent some in the golden glass and a little less in the body.

Bottle: pours a slightly hazy light orangish color with a big fluffy white head. Citrusy bread aroma. The flavor is a slightly funky citrus. It’s not overpowering, but refreshing with a great body to it.

Pint on tap, and several 12 oz bottles. Lightly hazy orange-golden with a creamy disc of foam. Aroma is fresh orange, grapefruit, toast, resin and a hint of dank herb. Taste is a great blend of the same. Light-medium body is a bit too fizzy, finishes dry and is very sessionable.

Nice citrus nose. Hop foreword beer with nice citrus and dine tropical fruit. Some funk and pine also. Solid balance. Nice beer
