12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy golden amber color. The head is a two finger white shade with a frothy-looking texture. It doesnít have the best retention in the world, either. S: There are some decent tropical qualities on the nose. I also note touches of grass, pine, and grapefruit. Aromatically, itís hardly explosive, just oh-so-pleasant. T: Itís initially mildly bitter, with notes of piny hops and a bit of mango. I particularly enjoy the midtaste and its subtle fruit esters. The finish sees a return of piny bitterness. What it lacks in excitement it makes up for in drinkability. M: I think itís a hair too fizzy and sharp on the back end - otherwise, I have little to complain about here, as the light, dry texture makes it eminently drinkable. O: Very easy to like. Granted, itís not a fresh bottle, but beggars canít be choosers, really. This really works well as simple refreshment.

Bright lilly and grapefruit nose, some faint tangerine notes also detected. Shimmering amber, thick yellow head. Lilly flavor, a bit savory, thyme. Orange peel finish. Good malt backbone. Medium body, low bitterness. Nice balance, tasty.

Transfer from BA review on 5-18-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance Ė Pours a hazy orange color with a thick white head of two finger height. The head, being thick, retains very well, slowly fading over time to leave a medium level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell Ė The aroma is mainly of a grainy and light wheat aroma mixed with some aromas of lemon citrus and a bit of grapefruit. Beyond the lemon and grapefruit hop smells are some notes of pine and herbal hops giving a moderately hoppy aroma overall. Taste Ė The taste begins with a muted grain taste of some wheat and smooth malt. There is a light level of orange sweetness upfront which quickly decays as flavors of lemon and grapefruit hop come to the tongue. Some more grainy flavors as well as some taste of a more earthy and herbal hop taste come to the tongue. In the end, with the mix of more dry malt and hop flavors, one is left with a dry and medium hop bitter flavor lingering on the tongue. Mouthfeel Ė The body of the brew is on the medium side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average to maybe just above average. Fairly fitting for the style and it is a good compromise between keeping it on the more refreshing side, while also allowing the malty and hop flavors to be more fully sensed by the taste buds. Overall Ė A decent brew overall. A little on the drier side for a APA for me with a slightly unbalanced hop flavor (It is just a combination of hop that leaves a rather strange aftertaste). Even so it is still somewhat tasty and a good one to try as I think may would enjoy it..

Pours cloudy and pale yellow with a creamy white head. Hoppy aroma with lemon peel, grass, and grapefruit. Strong yeast character that Iím not totally excited about.

On tap at Brunzies. Great hops aroma, sweet sugary nose with tropical fruits and light resins. Golden-amber clear with white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice medium dry pale ale with citrus and pine flavors. Citrus bitter finish with light hoppy tropical fruit notes and citrus in the after. Nice APA.

Yellowish pour from bottle with white head. Crisp clean delicious topical citrus pale ale. My wheelhouse. Wasn't expecting this to be so good. Mad I only have half a 12 ounce bottle of it

This beer was fine but a little like drinking a good home brew! A little sweet on the palate for my taste, and perhaps lacking aroma, but very drinkable and would be a good session beer. I can think of many other beers I would go for over this in future.

12 ounce bottle. Bright golden color. Large rocky white head. Assertive citrus hops in nose. Tart bready malt flavor with more lemony citrus hops. Complex and spicy with great balance. Yeasty presence throughout. Enjoyable.

A golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with smooth floral and resinous hops, classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney resinous floral hops, nice and fresh. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.

Poured from bottle into snifter, quickly dissipating head, cloudy pale orange. There is a lively tinge that attacks the mouth not unlike a biting grapefruit. The flavor and finish are lacking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
