Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy light amber color with small head. The aroma has some nice fruity hops; oranges and a touch of peach. Dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor is ok, with very light crispness; strong bitterness, but the hop qualities are subdued; it has some ending hop resins, and a very light grassy touch.
It’s not bad, but the hops are not shining.

Bottle at home in Salisbury - picked up at Stateline. Pours clear gold with a large, thick white head. The nose has some simple, dried pale malts, basic citrus, lemon, a bit of tangerine, pine needles. Light-medium sweet with dry, bready pale malts, hints of caramel underneath, some dirty hay, pine, light orange rind, a few leaves. Light to medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish with slightly more vibrant citrus fruits, lemon, tangerine, pale bread. Decent overall; finishes well.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out soapy, floral hops, and some zesty biscuity malt. Flavour is very similar, bringing out lots of floral hops, citrus zest, and a crisp biscuity malt backbone. Very crisp, zesty and dry, making this highly drinkable and very refreshing. Great by-the-books pale ale.
