This beer was fine but a little like drinking a good home brew! A little sweet on the palate for my taste, and perhaps lacking aroma, but very drinkable and would be a good session beer. I can think of many other beers I would go for over this in future.

12 ounce bottle. Bright golden color. Large rocky white head. Assertive citrus hops in nose. Tart bready malt flavor with more lemony citrus hops. Complex and spicy with great balance. Yeasty presence throughout. Enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with smooth floral and resinous hops, classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with piney resinous floral hops, nice and fresh. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle into snifter, quickly dissipating head, cloudy pale orange. There is a lively tinge that attacks the mouth not unlike a biting grapefruit. The flavor and finish are lacking.

White head. Golden lightly hazy. Very aromatic for a pale ale. Citrus, light malt base. Very pleasant.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Clear golden color with some lasting head retention. Aroma is bright citrus (lemons, grapefruit) with some good biscuit notes. You can tell how hop forward this is just from the nose, nice!
Flavor starts with citrus followed by a biscuit, toasted grain body. The finish has grassy and a light pine needle flavors. Really crisp mouthfeel. The beer has plenty of malt to provide balance. For such a widely distributed brew this is nice work, highly drinkable and refreshing during the warm summer months. Another nice job from this brewer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Steve’s in Fitchburg. Pours a pale yellowish-orange with a spongey white head leaving a lot of coating of lace. Aroma has light citrus and fruits. Some bready malts. Very light. Taste is of light sweet fruits, some lemon, some breadiness. Very little malt presence, and very light overall. Finishes more sweet than bitter and quite light. Nothing bad, just not much presence of anything there either. 13.4
