COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

Bottle… This beer rocks!... Pours dark and sits black in my glass with a small, creamy, off-white head. The nose is a swirl of caramelized chocolate and espresso (more chocolate than espresso) with a suggestion of vanilla. Medium to full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. Sugary, malty, chocolaty flavor with a modest shot of espresso and a whisper of vanilla. Sweet mocha finish. Decadent. Luxurious. World class beer!

Well, I guess I could have saved myself $8.99 if I had waited another week before buying this after seeing it at PilsnerPeter’s gathering. 22 oz. bottle courtesy of j12601. Pours very dark brown, nearly black. Huge aroma of caramel, milk chocolate, coffee and prune danish. The flavor is caramel, milk chocolate, coffee and prune danish, with a bitter coffee finish. Sweet and delicious!

Bottle. Thin, black opaque coloring. No head to speak of. Coffee, roasted notes, banana. Cherry hint - fruity but hard to place. Even delivery with heavy burnt-toast coffee ground ending. solid.

Rating#350 Enjoyed this one on my birthday courtesy of Kevin. Better than Chokolat in that its more nuanced and complex. It doesn’t have quite the same chocolate intensity in the flavor. Pours a rich black with a nice sized tan head. Nose is huge belgian chocolate with bananna and as it warms up some hazelnut and roast come out. Flavor profile has intense powdery high quality chocolate up front. Roasted coffee. Finishes slightly nut with bready chocolate notes and a slight hint of coffee bitterness. This is way way underated. Amazing beer.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2010 Bomber shared by robert at SL. This one was drank at home...Black in color, decent tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and slight vanilla. Taste is lots of roasted malts, coffee, and a bitter chocolate taste at the end. Average texture and carbonation. Really easy to drink. I am glad I have a bottle to age... Overall... not as good as ST Chokalat but still good.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a finger of creamy tan head. Aroma is a wonderful blend of milk chocolate and freshly roasted coffee. Sweet, yet roasty. Rich flavor is full of chocolate, roasted malts, and espresso. Lingering bitters and a creamy, mouth-coating sweetness. Another ST brew that really fits the description ver batum. I really liked Choklat and Jah-va was also very good, but this wasn’t quite on the same level. Still quite good. Thanks skinnyguy!

22oz. Pour is inky black with a thick dark brown head. Aromas strong of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and roasted malts. Flavor is thick and viscus with loads of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and finishing with coffee. This is a straight up dessert in a bottle. Much like all the other stouts ST puts out and it’s damn good.

Super dark rich pour. Aroma instantly is just crazy. Tons of rich milk chocolate topped with some smooth espresso and coffee. More chocolate dominant but that is ok with me. Dessert in a glass.

This was an instant favorite. Poured milky black with a tan head. Aroma of fudge, chocolate, and vanilla. Like a sundae in a glass. Some smooth and chewy. Lots of chocolate.
