COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
When empirical and creative impulses collide, the result is often timeless. The classic utility-art aesthetic of the coffee maker is an example of design and engineering working in concert. It is through similar cooperation that the simple bitter cocoa bean is transformed into a sweet treat. As scientists, our brewers utilize their materials to exacting standards. As artists, they couldn’t resist the temptation to combine the best flavors of two of our highly acclaimed Blackwater Series Imperial Stouts, Jahva and Choklat. Alone each is perfect, but together as Mokah, they are an inimitable expression of two of the world’s most sought after flavors. Enjoy Mokah stout with - or as - your favorite dessert! Cheers!

wow! deep dark brown, black pour with a creamy mocha head, nice lacing. strong dark chocolate and some coffee aroma with a perfect blend of both on the tongue... thick, full body to really make you feel like you’re drinking down a dessert... delicious beer, pretty heavy so can easily stand on it’s own!

Bottle to glass. Pours black, light khaki head. Typical imperial stout. Aroma is like a chocolate milkshake. Literally. Hints of coffee on the nose. Wow. Taste is a nice milk chocolate up front with coffee bitterness. Hints of vanilla. Palate is very smooth, velvety. Carbonation is light. Very good!

I love this chocolate treat. Liquid special dark velvety sweet dark as midnight winter Dracula would sink his teeth into this blood-substitute. I don't taste coffee...but I don't mind. This is what would be poured into a chalice in Transylvania for draculas guests. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle to glass. Opaque hue with creamy tan head that quickly dissipated to a thin ring. Aroma is Cocoa, vanilla, coffee, roast, brown sugar, honey, cream. Mouthfeel is nice with a full body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with an astringent bitterness in the following and an ethanol finish. Overall this is a very well done dessert beer. It’s not overly sweet like Creme Brûlée is but is definitely a dessert brew!

Aroma is chocolate. Black pour, bubbly white head. Taste is chocolate milk and bitter coffee on backend. Thin but velvety. Smooth.

Pours a very dark brown almost black with a khaki head leaving moderate lacing. Strong chocolate nose. Overwhelming chocolate flavor with a slight coffee aftertaste, very sweet, but very good.

It’s very dark chocolate brown, nearly black with dense brown, orange tinted suds, eventually settling with no lace. The aroma is intense with dark chocolate and caramel, some booze, pine, orange blossom... Flavor is bittersweet chocolate up front. Delicious, with some darker, coffee bitterness underlying, caramel, some smokiness and a touch of alcohol warmth. It’s not overly thick, like, say Ten Fidy, but still thick and slick. It finishes with just a touch of cocoa powder and some syrupy fruit notes. I like this a lot. A lot a lot. Yummers.

Battle poured opaque black with tan head. Nose all milk chocolate, marshmallow and sweet malt. Taste mild bitter up front, then lots of milk chocolate, mild roast and hint of coffee. Smooth late palate sweetness fades to mild bitter on finish.

Tap pour. Rich, almost black brown. Ecru head. Some lacing. Nose is pure chocolate milkshake. Damn. Taste is Ovaltine and might toasted malt. Dangerous. Abv almost entirely hidden. Sweet, but never cloying. Is this beer?

Bottle. Black with a quickly dissapating Mocha head. Aroma is sweet toasty cocoa and coffe. The taste follows suit with a bitter finish and a touch of booze. The mouthfeel is too thin and the carb is too high for my taste. Great overall but I wish the mouthfeel had some richness to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
