3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very hoppy nose (reminds me of glaciers at BCTC) with a but of toasty malt. Not complex but nice. Flavor is lightly toasted malt, slight frutiness, quite hoppy. Doughy finish. Nice but nothing really stands out. Hoppier than I expected an english pale to be. Still, I went back for seconds.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2005 CASK @ Old Toad in Rochester. Nice head with nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is a mild malt. The flavor and palate are nice and smooth. Not what I expected from an American micro (even ST). This was as good as the other two english sessions I had from cask that evening.
