Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Pours a yellow-gold with a thin white head. Aroma is floral, piney hops. Taste is overly sweet up front, then mellows out into a piney, bitter hop bite at the end. This is decent stuff, but I’d rather drink some SNPA than this.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours clear gold with a white head. It smells mainly of citrus hops. The flavor is well hopped and dry with the malt definitely taking a back seat. I wouldn’t call it extraordinary, but it works as a solid session ale.

Draft at Eli Cannon’s. Deep rich golden and clear. Nice herbal floral and leafy hops in the aroma. Smells refreshing and dry. Clean, quaffable mouthfeel, pretty low carbonation. Good grain backbone with a smart hoppy kick, a lot like I would like a pale hoppy mild to taste like. Very grassy and nice herbal bitterness. Good drinkable stuff.

Clear golden pour with a nice white head. Gentle citrusy hop aroma with a bit of spice. Rounded malt body with a great sense of pale ale hopped character. Great APA example. Good stuff1

A lively little orange number. Honeyed mild hoppiness on the nose with apply freshness and dusty straw. Very calm and mild. A bigger hop tingle in the mouth that quickly reliquishes its hold to a thicker honey and green leaf finish. Floral honeysuckle and stinging nettles with some back of the tongue dryness. Light and refreshing with an easy and interesting progression.

Solid bronze, healthily carbonated, with a firm, off-white head. Aroma smacks of ESB, pleasantly bitter with inclusions of floral hop and perhaps crisp rye, with a soupcon of citrus and honey dew. The flavor again leans more to an ESB than an APA. Solid bittering hops, medium raw hop leaf, and floral hop notes. Good bitter finish. Refreshing and flavorful.

Bottle. Poured translucent honey amber, almost an inch of white frothy head, produced a good amount of lacing. Aroma was of honey, slightly mellon, apple, light citrus, maple, herbal, lemon zest, and salt water - overall very delicate. Flavor was honey, apple, pear, sweet mellon-citrus, soapy bitterness from the hops. Palate was water but had a slightly resinous finish. Definitely not extraordinary.
