Pale yellow, no head. Tangerine, mandarin and peach aroma. Caramel too. Slightly watery but nicely wheaty body. Hops quite assertive in the taste, a bit sticky. Hoppy finish is big, but OK. The wheat lives on in the finish too. Quite crisp and refreshing. The hoppy finish is long, long, long. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Pours a light honey color with a thin head. Aroma is somewhat of a blend between an American pale and a Belgian tripel. It has corn-based breakfast cereal notes (stale hops - think cap’n crunch), with some crisp citrus to balance out what otherwise borders on cardboard. No doubt about it, this tastes like grain. Just enough hops to keep it refreshing and from being weighed down by the grain / malt flavors. I can’t get over the idea that this tastes like cap’n crunch. Not everyday can you find a beer that can make you think of your childhood. This one isn’t anything to shout home about, but it’s very drinkable and would make a great summertime brew. altonbrownd (1888), Amsterdam, Netherlands

I would serve this American pal ale to any snobby Brit who doubts the colony brewers. Perfect golden color with a classic head. Aroma of lemon and pine. More sour hops and malts int he taste with just a bit of bitterness to chew on in the fininsh ChristianScheffel (4481), Odense, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 20, 2009 Clear dark golden with a lasting white head. Juicy hop aroma of orange peel, grapefruit, roses and pine. Excellent balanced flavour with nice biscuit-y malt, floral hop flavour and the right amount of bitterness. beerandIT (183), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Pours a nice gold color with just under an inch of head or right there at it. Light bodied pale ale. Some malts there with a hint of hops. Very smooth and palatable pale ale. Light malts on the aftertaste. Try this one sometime, great for the summer. HomeBrewHawk (269), De Soto, Kansas, USA

Poured a brilliant clear gold with less than a finger of tight bubbled white head. Piney hop aroma with some biscuity malt. Plenty of hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Could use a little more malt. Lots of carbonation. Hops provide a drying finish. Very drinkable. A solid pale ale.
