I found this at Binny’s and nobody knew exactly what it was (it doesn’t say what type of ale it is on the bottle, only that it’s extraordinary). So, I bought a six pack. Pours straw colored with a very thin head. Nose is citrus and cleaning fluid, taste doesn’t taste a lot like beer. Just that heavy, chemical, citrus taste. After a few of them, I realized it was extremely thin and the problem with the beer is a lack of malt. Puzzling, strange, not worth the dough. Goodgrief (1149), Middletown, Delaware, USA

Flavor was a bit one dimensional on citrus hops, but a decent sweetness to balance. Nice smooth mouthfeel though. An easy sipper by the grill...which is where I had it. carl4beer (400), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 17, 2008 12 oz. pours clear and golden with small white head. aroma is zesty with citrus hops. mouthful has citrus up front yielding to some yeast and malt flavors. Enjoyably on the zesty side of the APA. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Pours a crystal clear gold with a bright white head. Citrus and a bit of pine-sol in the nose. Something is fairly odd about this beer. There is a green flavor to this. It is not overwhelming with hops but still their is an organic leafy flavor to it. This has a zesty lemon kick to it. This resembles a cleaning agent more than a APA. Ritterkreuz (179), Seneca Falls, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 9, 2008 This beer smells like a mix of hops and lemon, and has a very lemony taste. Watery in texture, really, its not that extraordinary. Metalhead (570), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 9, 2008 This nothing amazing. It IS a decent enough light pale ale. Mild citrus hops with a mild semi sweetness to it. Probably a good summer session beer and $3 a 6 cheaper than 3 Floyds. blipp (1641), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours light yellow with a white head. Sweet aroma with piney hops and caramel malt. Medium body. Flavor is floral hops with some sweet malt and a grassy finish. Nothing impressive but very drinkable. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 5, 2008 Bottle. Dark gold bottle with a bright slightly off white head. The aroma is fresh mild grapefruit with a little bit of almonds. Nicely toasted bread comes in behind that. The taste is strange abc gum with some nasty poorly made wheat bread. There is also a little bit of stale caramel candy. Strange execution of a mild and bland APA.
