Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

I liked these balance. Not too hoppy, with gentle floral aroma and clean finish. The color is a light amber that understates the flvor and palatte. Not totally clear. Palatte was excellent with areletively light body, hint of oily character that dissappears quickly to a quenching finish

Floral hops mixed in a light caramel soup, actually a very attractive aroma, Taste is strangely light, given that full fragrance,a light bitter hop tastedominates with a hint of caramel backing, which settles how to just hop bitterness, aftertaste is fine, would make a nice session beer

bottle poured a light orange amber in color with a one finger head that quickly became a thin layer of white foam with ample carbination. aroma of sharp hops, caramel malt, and some light floral. flavor is nice grapefruit hops, mid range on the mouth feel, mid pallet malt, and finishes a little dry with the main flavor being the hops. good for a session beer, nice hops flavor just a bit toned down.

Nice enough, but extraordinary? Seems to be wandering in the style wilderness. To me, it is more of a nice malty brown than a hoppy pale. Easy to drink. Not bitter at all.

1st brew of turkey day 07--12oz from Chevy Chase. Pours orange with a bubbly tan head. Nose has some nice bright hops. Generally a nice hoppy taste with a malty sweet finish. Not bad to session not amazing either.

Bottled. Pours out in a clear pale amber colour with a rich pillow long-lasting white head. Very clean aroma of fragrant yellow fruits, mild flowers and caramel. Clean flavour of mild apricot, yellow plums and caramel with touches of lemon-rind. Light-bodied and airy mouth feel. Short medium-bitter finish of red gooseberries, lemon and grass. Nothing that I get terribly exited about but it’s certainly a good introductory beer because I really dig the rest of the Southern Tier lineup. Still quaffable.

a straight forward session brew: cloudy orange with thin white head it exudes grapefruit aroma. clearly dry hopped but there is very litter bitterness in the brew, just nice hop flavor.
