Appearance is sort of a sparkling caramel color with great head formation which fades to a scummy protective coating. Aroma is light and refreshing and hoppy, with a touch of penetrating sharpness like you met get off fresh sweat or from bug repellant. This is a cutting yet fresh aroma. Flavor is light and hoppy and quite nice. Mouthfeel is very much on the light side, but is far from watery or boring.
Quite a nice beer. Recommended. chimpscampee (556), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

There’s a good-sized white cap that coats the inside of the glass. Big grassy, citrusy hop aroma, and a sweet malt undertone. Nice aroma. Flavour is similar, but is kind of one-dimensional. Medium body and a good fruity finish. Very fresh tasting. Nice APA overall, and thanks to my sister for bringing me 6. gearbike (414), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2007 Pours golden with a sudsy beige head. The aroma has a pleasant spice, toasted caramel malt and an apple-like fruitiness. Medium crisp body with some decent moderately spicy carbonation. The taste starts off with spicy hops, light berry fruitiness, light malt a touch of wood and hints of oxidation setting in. The finish has light sourness and woody hops. Decent beer.
