Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

12oz bottle, pour was golden to amber, only an ok initial head and lacing. The aroma was citrus (lemons) more than anything else. The flavor was a light malt base (bread most identifiable?), full orange, lemoney citrus profile, although they didn’t wow me in the overall quality of how this thing did or didn’t come together. Mouthfeel was moderate for the style, amply carbonated.

Very well pouring beer. Hazy amber with white head. Lacked in hops. Dry and well carbonated.

12 oz bottle. Hazy reddish golden with a white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Sharp grapefruit hop taste to start with a very clean finish.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

12 fl. oz bottle, thanks to BA richgo6. Clear deep golden colour, decent head. Lovely aroma of Cascade and Styrian Goldings. The flavour is also very hoppy, a tad too sweet, a hint of orange marmelade, with some "raw" alcoholic notes. Not bad though.

Pours a clouded golden brown with a big off-white head off a very aggressive pour that falls rather quickly. Nose is a typical citrus hop. Flavor is smoothly and mildly sweet with an even and not overpowering hop presence. Feel is nice. Good level of bubble on the tongue with a nice liquid feel. Drinkable yes. For being labeled an extraordinary ale, I don’t find this one as such. It is still pretty good though and worth trying. (and very quaffable)

Pours an orange with amber at the edges, white and off-white head, aroma is a good amount of sweet, bread and some floral, creamy in the mouth, some sweet malt, real faint citrus fruit flavors (less than the nose lets on to), real faint caramel flavor with some fine hop bitterness in the background that extends its purpose towards the finish, toasted malt flavor, this pale ale has more sweetness in the nose then what I have experience in pale ales, I enjoyed the bread and malt sweetness aromas mingled together, i wish the flavor matched what the nose was letting on to, mouth feel is a little thin, some graininess on the palate, not much though, interesting pale ale.
