Slightly hazy. Floral aroma. Nice aroma, light but inviting. Thin body, A little bland, watery. Not very bitter for a PA but that balances with the thin body. Has a slight 7-up flavor going. Just a little bit of chalky flavor in the aftertaste. I am once again unimpressed with a Souther Tier beer. TheShat (131), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Bottle pours gold and clear. The aroma is bitter with hints of spice and ctrius. This beer has an almost water taste with some bitterness at the finish. The finish is also wet. This one needs more punch. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Rated while drinking: Pours pure golden with a small vibrantly white head and a tiny bit of lacing. Fruity hop aroma with an emphasis on mangoes or tangerines. A little backbone of malty aroma too; bready. Flavor actually reminds me of their Harvest Ale. Must be a similar hop selection. Compared to the intense flavor profile found in the Harvest Ale, this is much more toned down. Tangerines in the front and aftertaste. A bit of malt comes in near the end to give it some pretty nice balance. Palate is a bit watery with some carbonation on the tongue and some bitterness near the end. Very drinkable though. A nice beer for what I consider to be Southern Tier’s flagship. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy orange gold, white head. Aroma is caramel, peat, tangerine. Flavor is the same with graham crackers. Too sweet and moist. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Nose of citrus, evergreen, resin, and cologne. Pours a sparkling golden straw. The thick frothy white head is fully lasting with fair lace. The flavor is well balanced with moderate acidity & a healthy amount of bitterness bringing up the rear. The light creamy body is soft to lively, there is a crisp feel to the finish. I would have figured this to be an IPA, but it qualifies as a good example of an APA. jake65 (1698), Williston, North Dakota, USA

Nose is malty with citrus and light florals. Tastes sweet with malts, fruitiness of apple and citrus, and floral hops. Kind of lingering floral/grassey aftertaste. Thanks goldtwins. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
