hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA Jun 26, 2007 bottle- golden, with some amber. malty, with a lot more bitterness than I was expecting. very good drinking beer. I don’t know about "extrodinary", but very good. tagz (334), USA Jun 16, 2007 Updated: May 17, 2008Draft. Pours clear gold with minimal head. They call it an American Pale Ale but feels more like a mild IPA. Grassy hop aroma. Moderate carbonation that meets you on the front end, with floral and bitter hops to follow. An element of pine in there as well. Its a well balanced beer that would be a good session beer or a stand alone.
Bottle. Pours crystal clear amber with a sticky white head. Foamy lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and grass. Decent floral hop but little bitter to back it up. Sweet malty flavors in taste. Carbonation keeps it crisp but I’d like a touch more bitter. In any case, it’s a tasty session beer. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 11, 2007 Bottle: Pours golden in color with a solid white head. I smell some pine, a touch of citrus, and maybe even a small hint of caramel in this one. Smell is fairly subtle. The taste is a little on the watery side, but as I continue to drink, I notice the pine flavor slowly coming through followd by just a hint of the citrus flavor. This one is pretty easy to drink, but maybe to easy going for my liking. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 11, 2007 On tap at the fuel & fuddy. Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, sweet malt and some pine. Flavor was sweet, caramel, and malty with a nice balance between the hops and the malts A good session brew cking (1012), North Canton, Ohio, USA Jun 6, 2007 Rated 4/29/07: Light copper color, fizzy off white head and nice lacing. Fresh aroma, nice and flowery from a medium profile which I’m guessing relies primarily on the centennial hop. Lighter bodied than usual but far from watery or thin, this is just an easy going APA that is very sessionable. Flavor is "extraordinary " with a winning combination of fresh citrus fruits and well balanced hops giving off that evergreen taste. Light malt backbone slightly bready and surprisingly on the dry side. This is easy like Sunday morning. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA May 25, 2007 Pours a hazy orangish copper under a small white head composed of very fine bubbles. Nice perfumy hop aroma with a light citrus fruitiness of tangerines and lime zest. Flavor is fruity and crisp, so much citrus flavor you’d swear they added oranges to this. Very well balanced and thirst quenching. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with very fine carbonation yielding a creamy mouthfeel. A pretty nice Pale Ale. Not overly aggressive or in your face, but a nice session drinker.
rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA May 20, 2007 Moderate bright malt aroma with hints of slight hop fruityness. Clear golden orange color. Medium creamy malt taste with a mild hop bite finish. pet3rman (206), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 17, 2007 Somewhat waters, lacks the character of a good ale. Nothing above average.
