Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Medium golden color, very thin wispy head. Huge fresh hop bouquet. Nice hop flavor with a touch of malty sweetness, but more of a drier ale than a malty one. Need a little more body

12oz bottle, courtesy of drewbeerme. Thanks, Andrew! Pours a clear, medium golden color; enormous, textured off-white head with excellent lacing and retention. Light sugar and lime and citrus bitterness in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: plenty of citrus hops, sharp carbonation, and a medium malty core holding things together. Not extraordinary, but good. Medium, bitter citrus finish.

Hazy gold with big white head. Fresh and mild hop aroma and citrusy taste, but not extraordinary as the name would indicate. Perhaps a bit of acetaldehyde and diacetyl, but not really out of line. Decent and drinkable, but not substantially more.

Poured a murky orange with a think lacing white head. Very unique aroma. Fruity and sweet candy aromas. Taste is, semi-extraordinary. Malty and sweet, like candy, but also bitter and hoppy. Nice beer, but a little strange honestly. Not quite APA, not quite IPA. Can’t really put your finger on it.

This is a good ale. A little hard to believe that this is an APA. Before logging on after tasting it I could have sworn it was a IPA. Well done.

Really nice golden color, fluffy white head. Got both the malt and hop smells in the nose. Nice balance between the hops and malt. This is a very tasty but non-descript beer. I could drink a large quantity very qucikly and be very happy.

Bottle. Clear and light gold, with a massive loose white head. Aroma of hops and malt that strikes a good balance. Light body, with a strong malt flavor and not much on the hops in the balance.

The head doesn’t last too long on this amber/gold ale. The aroma is sweet malt with a touch of toffee balanced by pine, grapefruit, and grass. It seems a bit watery but delivers a good balance between the malt and PNW hops. The finish is quick and crisp. Okay.
