Naven (864), Poway, California, USA Jan 28, 2007 12 oz bottle from Shadey. Amber color. No real aroma. Flavor is fairly typical for this style. Lightly hopped, clean, refreshing, easy drinking. Not bad, but nothing here stands out. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA Jan 24, 2007 Brownish color, no head. Smell is sweet and grassy with a little bit of a hop flavor. Taste is fruity and refreshing. Something is weird tasting, but I do not know what it is. Not a bad beer, but damn, give me Sierra Nevada. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jan 23, 2007 Red-amber; small, frothy, white head; head becomes a small ring but can be brought back briefly with some moderate swirling. Grassy, earthy, piney hops in the nose; light caramel. Flavor is largely hoppy; some apple is hidden in there as well. Medium-thin body; medium carbonation. Overall, quite solid. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA Jan 21, 2007 carmel, hops, apricot, some banana, apple, some fruit and nut granola flavoras. sberk13 (5), pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA does not count Jan 20, 2007 bought it for the packaging...cause sometimes i’m a sucker - found it to be a lot better than i expected...kind of like a sierra nevada pale ale without the bitterness in the finish MrBendo (1039), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Jan 17, 2007 Clear amber/orange with a small head. Aroma of orange and pine. Taste is heavily orange-citrus. A little caramel. Nice. Light to medium body. Nicely bitter ending. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Jan 16, 2007 On tap @ Coles Buffalo, NY. Nice American pale. Easy drinking & enjoyable. Could use a better name though Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jan 15, 2007 Updated: Oct 27, 2007Draft at KClinger’s. Textbook amber beer with a thin sticky top. Well hopped ... oily, resiny, piney. Vicscuous! Excellent hoppy little ale. (#2653, 1/14/07) <<Re-rate from bottle ... light golden amber, thin but resilient head. Nicely flavored beer, despite a lack of aroma. Very corn-flakey flavor, but nicely rounded, oily. Nice.
