Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Bottle. Pours a darker golden body with a white head. Grassy fruity citrus and peach notes, with a lighter malt bill. A lighter citrus and peach note to finish. Good stuff.

Tap at Clark Street Ale House. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma was sweet with citrus and apple notes. Flavor had hops present, first with an undertone of sweeter fruits like apples but became more citrus throughout.

Not all that extraordinary. Pale orange or gold shade, decent head, clear. Aroma is grapefruit and floral hops, not bad at all. Flavor is very light on the malt, frankly it just comes across as thin bodied. The hop profile is one I didn’t care for - grapefruit and floral, yes, but it also had a cooked vegetable component that I just wasn’t digging. Almost like a hop tea. Must confess if I had liked the hop profile more, it would have rated much higher. But different strokes for different folks.

Clear golden of color with a white longlasting head. An aroma of grass, pines and fresh hops, weak malty notes. A flavor of malt, hay, corn, hops, grass and bitter. Nice aroma but okay flavor..

Hmmmm, this wasn’t very extraordinary, It’s pretty damn normal! Pours a pale color with a small head. There is a grainy malt character in the aroma with a slight sweetness and a little citrus. The flavor is very well balanced and has a sort of kolsch like thing going on It’s pretty grainy and has a low hop bitterness/character.
