Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Bottle @ Brixie’s. Pours dark gold with a white head. Although it wasn’t Extraordinary, it wasn’t a bad APA. Nice aroma of citrus and the hops power through in the flavor as well. It sort of reminded me of Pride & Joy, but not as good. I could see this being a regular beer that you would like to drink though.

Draft at Colter Bay in Buffalo. I thought this was an IPA at first taste, definitely hoppy taste. Goes down pretty easy, kinda leaves a bit to be desired though.

from crackedkettle.com - pours a hazy blond colour with a firm white head; beautiful lacing; powerful aromatic hoppy nose showing some grapefruit and litchies; good malt body and slightly sticky palate, moderate carbonation and fairly bitter; the finish is quite short and dry with a lingering bitterness and fruity notes

A unique pale with a good bit of smooth fruit flavor to it with a dry hop finish. I like it, but something seems to be missing, like a meal that could use that extra dash of salt to bring it all out.

It is yellow-golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma is mild and nice with notes of fruit, citrus and light malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and it is mild, but still it has loads of fruit, citrus/grapefruit and spruce notes with a dry finish. It’s delicious and refreshing.

Can we rename this "Phin & Matt’s ’Pretty Good’ Ale?" It is hardly extraordinary by any stretch of the imagination, but it is pretty good. Slightly hoppy, some citrus notes. Very drinkable, but very thin. Middle of the road.

Bottle. Pours a darker golden body with a white head. Grassy fruity citrus and peach notes, with a lighter malt bill. A lighter citrus and peach note to finish. Good stuff.
