Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Pour is a hazy gold with a large tan head. Aroma is of hops and sweet malt. Flavor is again hoppy with some pils malt. Everything about this beer is simple but that’s ok as this is very sessionable and easy to drink.

Appearance: cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma: quite grassy initially then lots of hops & candy, straw, fresh cotton and sugar. Flavour: soft wheat, malt, hops, some sugar and root vegetables, wheat and cream finish. Not bad!

Pours a light gold with a slim white head. The aroma is all hops and the tongue delivers what the nose smelled...hops. This is a nice pale ale; it finishes brilliantly and I could drink many of them.

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grainy malt, grass and a little hop. Flavor is sweet malt, light grassy hops, and a hint of fruitiness.

Bottle at Winking Lizard Crosswoods location. Semi-opaque gold/copper pour with a medium white head. Citrus hop nose with a malt balance. Malty with a bitter finish, but it’s pretty thin.

On tap at Uber Tavern. Yellow gold with apparent bubbles and plenty of lacing. Smells of spiced apples. Bitter, finishes floral and dry.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, perfume, light to moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090412]

Poured from bottle. Aroma of malt and ocean. Golden, white head persists. Floral tasting hops mix equally with the malt and linger in the aftertaste. A bit of lacing. Maybe not spectacular, but I liked this more as I drank it. Nicely done.
