Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Pours clear golden with a huge pillow white head. Sweet apple aroma with some fresh hops. Very sweet apple like flavor. Doughy malts, yeasty. Nice light/medium sparkling mouthful. More than just ordinary. Closer to a golden or blonde.

Bottle. Very pale copper color with a bit of lace. Flowery hop aroma: citrus, sweet amlts, a bit of honey. Very fruity. Light palate; flavor of sweet pale malts, citrus and light fruits, honey. Very floral and generally sweet, slightly metallic, with light bitterness. Very drinkable but not challengng or as serious as many of their others. Rater bland.

12 oz bottle purchased at Oak Tree. This one poured with waaaay to much head. Virtually it was a glass of head so I thought it might have been infected but the aroma and flavor seemed to be okay. Aroma had a slight bit of mustiness, the malt profile seemed to be wheaty although I’m pretty sure this isn’t brewed with wheat. Flavor is dominated by lots of malts with some spicey pepper as well. For some reason I was expecting something smooth and easy drinking and this was much fuller and more complex then I was anticipating.

Beautiful copper color with a thin white head. Nice fruity/citrus aroma. Well balanced with plenty of hop character. Solid stuff and at the price this can easily be a session beer.

12 oz bottle. Golden, thin white head. Hoppy fresh aroma. Flavor is full of fresh hops, and not very bitter. Malt profile is a touch thin. Very drinkable and a quaffer on a hot summers day.

Copper color, off white head. Frutiness of apricot offset by some leafy hops. Well balanced. Medium bodied and very drinkable. Another solid brew for Southern Tier.

Clear copper w/ frothy white foam. Fresh, spicy hop aroma w/ notes of ginger & cinnamon. Medium, resiny feel. Flavour is both moderately hoppy & moderately malty. Finish is dry & mildly acidic.
