Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Love the nice full hops bouquet and citrus (lemon maybe) aroma. Dark yellow - orange. White head. Some malt in the palate and some hops in the finish. Starts good finishes drably.

Clear golden color with a minimal white head. Mild aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of citrus and hops. More sweet than bitter. Needs a little something but very satisfying.

Clear amber/orange with a small head. Aroma of orange and pine. Taste is heavily orange-citrus. A little caramel. Nice. Light to medium body. Nicely bitter ending.

Flaske.

Rated 4/29/07: Light copper color, fizzy off white head and nice lacing. Fresh aroma, nice and flowery from a medium profile which I’m guessing relies primarily on the centennial hop. Lighter bodied than usual but far from watery or thin, this is just an easy going APA that is very sessionable. Flavor is "extraordinary " with a winning combination of fresh citrus fruits and well balanced hops giving off that evergreen taste. Light malt backbone slightly bready and surprisingly on the dry side. This is easy like Sunday morning.

Nice orange with copper tints. Thin white head and tinny carbonation. Creamy soft malt, light citrus hops. Some citrus caramel sweetness, also on the nose. The flavor is semi-sweet orangish caramel malt (interesting). The “big” hops are lacking but there is a nice orange citrus hop bitterness and a sweet (malt) bitter finish. This is an overall sweet IPA. A bit too much for me but still good. Creamy mouth feel and medium body. Odd really. I could have a glass of this but could not treat it as a session beer.
