Commercial Description:
When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "We've got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Let's do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "I've got it" exclaimed Matt, "we'll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBU's, 5.6% ABV

Bottle from Wine Specialist. Dark gold color with a fluffy white head. Nice citrus hop aroma. Head does some lacing. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is a bit kandi, some citrus, some roast malt, but the ale is rather astringent. Something like a very nice "light" Belgian. This could be my "goto" beer. If the world quit producing new beers. Seems to be a bit under-rated.

Bottle. Dark gold bottle with a bright slightly off white head. The aroma is fresh mild grapefruit with a little bit of almonds. Nicely toasted bread comes in behind that. The taste is strange abc gum with some nasty poorly made wheat bread. There is also a little bit of stale caramel candy. Strange execution of a mild and bland APA.

Strong, spicy, orange-citrus, resiny hop aroma almost seems like it has ginger and cinnamon notes to it. Clear pale copper coloured body is topped by a huge, fine-bubbled, white head that lasts forever and coats the sides of the glass. Grapefruit and lemon herbal hop flavours are strong with very assertive bitterness and extreamely dry malt character. Medium-light body with pointy, sharp, prickly carbonation that is just a bit too aggressive. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (trade, May-05). Thanks, jah_noth!

Bottle conditioned and provided by Ty, thanks: A hazy golden hue greets the drinker topped by a huge fluffy white head and above average lacing is left upon the pint glass. The aroma has notes of grapefruit, pine and grassy hops, biscuity malts and a hint of mineral water. The taste starts mildly bitter and citric with a layer of pale malt sweetness in support. The finish is mostly clean with some of the same mineral water found upon the nose. The mouth feel is sprite and chalky with a dry astringent finish. A solid brew for the genre.

Bott5le. Medium high creamy and lasting white head. Clear golden body. Weak and sweet fruity and malty aroma. Mild sweet and pretty anonymous. Wonder if coran has been used. A bit a malt, a bit of hops, almost no carbonation and a short aftertaste with little characteristics. Sorry mates you have to do better than this.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Three Cellars in St Francis, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a decent and lumpy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a fine film and some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some citrus hops, a touch of apple, and some cotton candy. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a more citrus hoppy flavor than caramel malt. Finish has a slight apple bitter aftertaste that slowly disappears.

Bottle thanks to drewbeerme. Poured a clear, brighter golden with some rising carbonation and some tiny sediment suspended in there. The nose found fresh floral and citrus notes with unidentifiable sweet malts behind. Flavor was of floral, citrus, and pine hoppage backed by light fruity sweetness. Higher carbonation with a smooth middle and brighter bitterness around the edges. Decent, but certainly not extraordinary.
