| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 7, 2005 Clear amber color with a medium light beige head and thin patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced but the flavor is a little weak. Mild hops, sweet malt and some tropical fruit flavors are there but are subdued. The finish is clean and sweet, making this beer really easy to drink from start to finish. Extraordinary? No. Above average? Yes. CaptainCougar (5549), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2005 Pours a clear bronze with a thin, but nicely-lacing white head. Aroma has a nice hoppy presence and a touch of sweet caramel malt. Body starts semi-sweet with some nice fresh hoppy assertiveness, but fades toward dullness in the finish. A crisp, drinkable beer, but sort of a let down after the aroma and first sip. Thanks to slob for the bottle. Nate (2575), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2005 Mild fruity aroma. Cherrywood and apple skins. Good hoppy character but smooth and mellow. Also some light buttery notes. Brilliant amber clear with thin head that dissipates quickly. Light medium body with medium soft carbonation. Has a medium sweet taste. Hoppy oils and mildly overbearing sugary quality. Nice hops throughout, just a bit dull. Finish is mild cherry skin bitter with touch of neutral fruits. After is a dry bitter. gsmitty80 (653), Washington DC, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2005 12 oz bottle: Light amber w/a thin off white head that shrinks quickly. Lighty floral and piney hops, becomes grassy & herbal as it warms. Toasty malt and some slightly plum fruity esters. Well balanced, a bit bitter up front and hints of plum fruit. A medium toasty malt w/ a semi sweet finish and herbal hop aftertaste. Lower medium carbonation, lighter body, and smooth. Nice thirst quencher and flavorful for a lighter beer. jb (1063), Rochester, New York, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Tried to guess the style before I saw the description here. Smell upon opening was a little tart, like a wheat, then sweetens up like a dubbel. Pours an amber beer with busy columns of bubbles rising from sides of glass, slightly puffy white head. So it does look more like an IPA. Smell now suggests some chewy malts and an APA load of hops. Taste may be a little thin on malt for what’s boasted. Nice spicy hop load with a bit of PNW to it. Good, yes. Extraordinary? Ennh.
