When Phin and Matt sat down to collaborate on their new beer, they knew it had to be different if they were to call it extraordinary. "Let sprinkle it with fairy dust and wave our magic wands," said Phin. "No way," said Matt, "Weíve got to do better than that. This beer has to be better than any other in the galaxy." "Letís do some market research." So the two strapped on their rocket pack packs and traveled to the intergalactic beer store. After sampling an array of beers from acrossed the galaxy, the duo hit on an idea. "Iíve got it" exclaimed Matt, "weíll use vast amounts of whole hops, the finest malt, and put a little more love in every batch." "Eureka!" shouted Phin. And thus became a beer so fresh and tasty the duo put their names on it. 37 IBUís, 5.6% ABV

Aroma was hoppy but with sweeter mats behind. Pale gold beer, nice lager head. Medium bodied, well hoped, with balancing malt behind. Left feel of shallowness.

Bottle pours vibrant golden, nice white foamy head, attractive lacing, with soft carbonation. † Nose isnít too impressive, very soft hop profile... maybe a touch of malts. † A bit better on the flavor aspect, a bit more bitterness, clean, not strong, semi-sweet malts, some citrus peel, and a touch of tobacco. † I can dig it. † Fades kinda quick, but finishes clean. † Body and mouthfeel are medium. † I really enjoyed this one. † Thanks goes out to slob for the trade!

12 oz bottle. Golden, thin white head. Hoppy fresh aroma. Flavor is full of fresh hops, and not very bitter. Malt profile is a touch thin. Very drinkable and a quaffer on a hot summers day.

Wonderfully hopped aroma, strong citrus and lighter floral notes. The beer is a golden color with a thin cream head on top. Flavor is not overly hoppy, but has a slightly syrupy/sugary sweetness to it. Decent malt body for this as well, making it a nicely balanced APA.

A nice light hoppy aroma with a decent sized white head. The flavor is somewhat malty but mostly hoppy, a decent refreshing brew, but nothing that makes it stand out from others.

Hoppy and Malty, and carmel. Dark Golden. A smoother sweeter member of the North American Grapefruit hophead series of beers. Bold fruit but lemon in finish. Medium mouthfeel. Not much head or lace. Altogether a fine refreshing start to Radekfest, and thanks to the Yankee who served it up.

Small tan head, good retention and a sticky stringy lace. Hazy copper/orange color. Citrusy, piney nose, flowery. Light body, watery. A hop juicey brew with a faint caramel malt backing. Finish is dry, lightly fruity. I would,nt call it Extraordinary though.
