KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 8, 2009 Dark brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and chocolate notes. Flavour like wise and it finishes sweet.6 KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway Jun 3, 2009 Bottle from Ølbutikken.
Fine coffee and liquorice aroma. Quite sweet, cappuchino flavour, some charcoal, well balanced with dry hops and a little lemon in the finish. Easy-drinking despite the complexity. dimenhetfield (157), , Florida, USA May 25, 2009 The pour was appealing, with little brownish off white foam head. The nose has hints of coffee and chocolate. The taste how ever was somewhat bland and disappointing. It didnt leave much to the imagination and the after taste was somewhat sour. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA May 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear light brown with little head at all. Aroma is strong of dark chocolate and sweet mocha coffee. Palate dwells on a thin note throughout, never really achieving any depth or character. Flavor starts with dark chocolate, moves towards nuttiness, and ends in more chocolate and roasts. This is a decent, but elementary porter. Hansen (2235), Randers, Denmark May 19, 2009 I really like this beer. Dark. Almost black colour; off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is burnt, nutty. The flavor gives the full impression of dark bread, faint coffee, dark chocolate, and more bread, mainly bitter finish. Jonte (801), Gothenburg, Sweden May 17, 2009 Bottle. Deep brown colour with a beige head. Aroma: Dry, rostiness, coffee, cocoa, a bit of sourness. Taste: Rosted, coffee, cocoa, a bit burned, light hoppiness. Dry finish. Light to medium body. ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA May 16, 2009 Thanks to Nate for sharing this one! Dark brown pour with a thick beige head. Roast and light cram on the nose.
