Red glints, but nearly black. Tan head. Sour malty roast aroma, a touch too sour. Anna gets hops too, I don’t - the sourness wins. Smooth palate, but decent carbonation and crisp tingly hops. Finish is roasty - it’s a decent roast, but it’s heading towards ashy, and also some porridgey malts. Well balanced and smooth. Good one. yobdoog (1431), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Aroma is simple with some malt sweetness and some roasty. Taste is balance and pretty solid. Some coffee dominating the dark bittersweet chocolate. On tap: Nice creamy mouthfeel. Sweet with a hint of bittersweet cocoa and some roasted coffee. Pretty good.
