Theis (3617), Denmark Mar 22, 2009 Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Black - light brown head. Burned, coffee, milkey, lactose, soapy, dryness, light sweetness, roasted, light hoppy, cocoa, nice freshness, light thin body. OK - high drinkability. Defreni (994), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 22, 2009 Flaske: Udmærket mørkebrun øl med et fint skumhoved. En tand mere brændt end sød. I starten underlig tynd mundfylde, men den bliver langsomt bedre. Ikke nogen stor øl, me drikbar. lassem (296), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 21, 2009 A little label-work would be nice ...luckly its the inside that counts. The pour is dark brown with a little head that holds on to the edga of the glass. The nose is metalwise coffee with burned malts. The taste is pale. there is some smokemalts I guess with some chocolate and coffee. The palate is not a porter worthy and its too waterish. Disappointment MPA (482), Nørrebro(formerly Aalborg), Denmark Mar 20, 2009 Bottle. Dark with beige head. Roasted, dark malt in aroma with some raisin and cocoa. Flavour is more subtle; still dark, roasted malts and cocoa, but not a lot of dark fruit. It has a certain lightness/freshness, which makes it quite drinkable. Lacks a bit of body, but I guess that only adds to the drinkability. Ends in a nice mellow bitterness. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 19, 2009 Bottle at home.

Roasted and hoppy finish. bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Mar 15, 2009 Thanks again to Acknud for this bottle. Whow, this really gushed. Very dark brown color with ruby notes. Full hand frothy tan head. Rocky head. Aroma of coffee. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is coffee over lightly dark toasted malt with some chocolate hints. Finishes dryish.
