What is more noteable is the gigantic, explosive tan head. I am afraid of infection after such an eruption so I cautiously smell the bottle and the gigantic mound of foam in my snifter. It doesn’t smell sour. I double check for some kind of date stamp on the bottle. None. So, here we go. The aroma is sharp and roasty with considerable nutty quality and hints of chocolate and butermilk. The palate is just medium. The flavor is very piercing, boderline metallic with more dark chocolate and coffee hints. I’m not sure what I think about this. It is much more acidic than I’d like a porter to be. Poured dark cola like (but not even close to ST’s darkest) with bubbly tan head. Nose pleasant banana bready, malty and doughy. Very drinkable, somewhat light on the palate. A good very well rounded porter. Mette (224), Frederiksberg, Denmark

duft og smag et noget tynd, kaffe, karameller, let brændt, mørkt brød og kakaomælk. En sjov peanutsmag, lidt vandet i smagen. Theis (3657), Denmark
