Some swirling of the glass gave me a short lasting foam. Roasted chocolate malt flavor and fragrance. Overall this porter was fleeting, needs more definition. Wow, mouth feel was much fuller then I anticipated from the pour. Well balanced carbonation, hop and malt profile. This is a most excellent Porter, and much appreciated, Thanks shadey! garthicus (1353), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

A roasty, smokey highly lactose flavor. A pleasant, almost nutty finish. Generally, a little bland for my taste, but it's really not bad at all. JaBier (1294), Capital City, Ohio, USA
