3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Haket, Göteborg.
Almost black colour with beige head. Weak nose. Only suggestions of caramel and chocolate, but traces of lactose. Dark malty in flavour but all in all a low profile flavour. Dark berries lurch underneath somewhere but not much else. Medium bodied with low bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice beer all around. Nice dark rich pour with a full light khaki head. Nose is roasted malts and some dark fruits. A little plums and maybe raspberry. Flavor has a little sweetness added to the roast. Some lighter sweetness, like candy sugar and molasses. Smooth finish with a nice medium body. I dig it.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours deep, rich black, nice toasty flavor. Great representation of the style. Most craft brewers seem fixated on adding a twist to classic styles to make them stand out, often the embellishment is more of a distraction than anything else. This is just a good, classic porter.

Aroma was fairly light, considering, with some dark malt, roasted nuts and mild smoke. Roasted malt flavours, with some coffee and brown sugar. Finish was espresso, dark chocolate and ash.
