12oz - The nose and appearance are fabulous. It sets you in the mood for a raspberry filled chocolate cake. I sometimes drink my dinner, so I hoped I might be able to drink dessert too. On the palate you get that for the briefest of moments before the bitter hops kill the whole thing. Body is kind of limp too. Not for me.

12oz bottle. Pours dark chestnut color, with a large beige head. Aroma of raspberry syrup, along with some dark chocolate. Flavor is chocolate at first, which is soon joined by raspberry syrup. Finish is a bit astringent; with raspberry and chocolate. The fruit flavors seem very unnatural. The least exciting ST beer I’ve had to date.

Shared bottle. Pours a reddish brown color with a 2+ finger slightly off-white head. Aroma is malty, with a little bit of the raspberries. Flavor is much the same, with a little chocolate coming through. Not bad. Definitely better than the rasp wheat. Nothing I would rush to try again.

Definitely a fruit beer. The aroma from this beige headed, clear brown ale is nothing but raspberries, some fresh, some candied. Some malty chocolate and a light roastiness are present in the flavor, too, but the fruit dominates. Nothing I’d care to repeat.

Bottle at toncatchers tasting. Pours a clear reddish brown. Light sweet and sourness. Some bitterness. Lots of raspberry aromas. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Short dry finish with hints of metals.

Dark brown pour with shades of red. Fresh raspberry aroma. Chocolate and raspberries, very nice. The raspberry almost masks the porter characteristics I like, which is disapointing

Very nice fruit beer, better then the ras wheat i found. At smokeless joes
