Bottle. Not my kind of beer but not bad at all. Big time raspberry taste. It was nice to try but not something I would usually get

Bottle. Burgundy brown color. Limited, almost no head. Pungent smuckers jelly-type of rasberry aroma. Sweet and sugary. Pleasing blend in flavoring. Tart, dry, acidic initial taste backed up by a berry floral exhale. Nice, not spectacular.

Dec. 2007 - I don’t know why I continue to buy these fruit ales. Deep clear mahogany pour with virtually no head or lacing. Aroma was straight raspberries. The flavor was way more raspberry than porter, and as such, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I prefer my fruit beers to taste like beer with a hint of fruit, not the other way around. Couldn’t finish it.

This is one cool beer. Nice balance between the roasty flavors of the beer with the tart taste of the raspberries.

First impression: a watered down, weak raspberry cola. On the positive side, different, and carries a nice raspbery aroma. A very light chocolate taste detected. Rather subtle; expected much more.

This isn’t too bad. Fairly light, sweet and fruity, notes of raspberry soda and a little bit of toasted flavours. Cola, coffee and a hint of chocolate. A bit cloying and underwhelming; not the desired effect, I think. But I enjoyed it.
