DWestrick (235), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 26, 2008 Bottle. Not my kind of beer but not bad at all. Big time raspberry taste. It was nice to try but not something I would usually get GriffinAvenue (395), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA Apr 26, 2008 Bottle. Burgundy brown color. Limited, almost no head. Pungent smuckers jelly-type of rasberry aroma. Sweet and sugary. Pleasing blend in flavoring. Tart, dry, acidic initial taste backed up by a berry floral exhale. Nice, not spectacular. LouieDog40oz (28), Germantown, Maryland, USA Apr 20, 2008 Very intresting beer... not sure if I actually like it or not...slight chocolate aroma with with sweet raspberry sent.....not real good not real bad deffinitly could not drink a lot of these. grandet (477), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. Browish pour with a small off white head. Smell was of raspberrys and chocolate. Taste was heavey raspberry and some chocolate. Not bad thought Goodgrief (1144), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 12, 2008 Dec. 2007 - I don’t know why I continue to buy these fruit ales. Deep clear mahogany pour with virtually no head or lacing. Aroma was straight raspberries. The flavor was way more raspberry than porter, and as such, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I prefer my fruit beers to taste like beer with a hint of fruit, not the other way around. Couldn’t finish it. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2008 This is one cool beer. Nice balance between the roasty flavors of the beer with the tart taste of the raspberries. anthlovesbeer (67), north grafton, Massachusetts, USA Apr 5, 2008 First impression: a watered down, weak raspberry cola. On the positive side, different, and carries a nice raspbery aroma. A very light chocolate taste detected. Rather subtle; expected much more. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 23, 2008 This isn’t too bad. Fairly light, sweet and fruity, notes of raspberry soda and a little bit of toasted flavours. Cola, coffee and a hint of chocolate. A bit cloying and underwhelming; not the desired effect, I think. But I enjoyed it.
