The beer was decent. Had enough flavor but could only taste the raspberries on the first sip.

Dark brown with red tones and no head. Smells strongly of sweet raspberries, and tastes of them as well, with a little bit of chocolate an malt coming through; a little bitter in the finish.

Bottle. Seemed like a strange idea. Flavors of raspberry and chocolate. Rich, thick, mouth. Sweet for sure but not overbearing, well balanced, really nice. The fruit actually seems to work well here.

Translucent burgundy. Large raspberry. Lambicesque. Nothing porter like. No charred, dark malts. Flavor of rapsberry candy. Blah. Lame. Wtf

"Bought this beer at World Market in Madison, WI. Beer pours a dark red/brown color with a small white head. Aroma of raspberries and malts. Flavor was fresh raspberries with malts and chocolate at the end. Really liked this beer. "

12oz bottle. I didn’t get much beer out of this. It’s like a dull raspberry soda. Certainly none of the chocolate flavor advertised. Won’t be drinking it again.

Pours surprisingly clear brown, like a cola, with a thin creamy head. Smells as advertised; a great big bouquet of sweet raspberry, which, while not unpleasant is really not expected to dominate in a porter. Raspberry sweetness carries through to the palate, only very lightly bittered. I don’t get any of the ’chocolaty’ flavours at all. Mouth feel is surprisingly light perhaps a little thin? To my mind it’s to light and thin for a porter (missing the malt hit) but that does not make it a bad beer, just mis-typed perhaps.
Not necessarily to my taste but well made and a bit different to what we regularly get down here.

After reading the commercial description which sates "rich creamy head"? What? Where? Hardly any head all all, thin a nd light and gone in 60 seconds. Dark in color liquid but cleary, not hazy if thick. Barely note the rasperries in the aroma. Taste, well there is the rasperry flavor. Way to artificial like a rasperry coffee. Finish is somewhat plain with the artifiicial rasperry flavor left in the back of the throat. Not my sytle, thank goodness it was a gift!
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bluevegie (3009) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 1, 2010
Didn’t pour a head at all on a dark brown, reddy body. Notes of raspberry and rich dark chocolate in the aroma and the taste, a little bit thin.

Heavy raspberry aroma, dark reddish-brown with very little head. Smells very sweet, but doesn’t taste sweet. Medium body, long finish, average carbonation. Not overly sweet for a fruit beer.
