Pours a dark brown with a thin off white head. Aromas of raspberry, roasted malt, and a little chocolate. The flavor starts with the raspberries then goes a little into the roasted malts of chocolate. Semi sweet and bitter. An decent fruity porter. Would be an awesome brew if it had 4 times the ingredients for the porter and a little less on the raspberry but just enough to give it that fruity edge.

0.355 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Dark reddish color. Sweet strong raspberry aroma with hint of toasty and chocolatey malt in the background. Toasty and chocolatey flavor with firm bitterness and perfumed raspberry. The combination of bitterness and raspberry is somewhat weird and gives unpleasant finish. This could also be more porter like with more chocolate.

On tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours a just clear ruby brown with a thin tan head. Aromas are raspberry, raspberry, and more raspberry, bordering on artificial, but beyond that there is just a hint of hops. Thin to medium bodied, more raspberry comes through, but at least now is joined by some nice roast. Finishes with a light bitterness, and a very faint hint of roast. Interesting, sort of like a fruit brown ale.

Source: 12 oz bottle purchased at Friar Tuck’s in Bloomington.
Glass: Drank at the hotel in a plastic cup.
Appearance: Poured a dark red color with a thin brown head.
Aroma: Aroma was medicinal, with artificial smelling raspberries and a faint hint of roasted malt.
Flavor: Very medicinal flavor. Way too sweet.
Palate: Medium/light body with soft carbonation and a watery mouthfeel.
Overall: Not very good. Was completely disappointed.

Deep dark amber colored with little light brown head. Strong and artificial raspberry aroma with tangy and biting sweet tone. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with watery palate and raspberry still, some grains indrying aftertaste. Don’t like.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is raspberry, some roast and also some slight malty notes. Flavour is artificial raspberry along with some slight papery notes as well as some strange sweetness. Too artificial flavour to really be enjoyed a lot.

12 oz bottle. Brown cloudy pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of malt and raspberries. Taste of malt, chocolate and sweet raspberries. Too artificial for my liking.
