Bottle. Browish pour with a small off white head. Smell was of raspberrys and chocolate. Taste was heavey raspberry and some chocolate. Not bad thought

Dark reddish brown color, with a fluffy beige head, leaving laces, sweet raspberry purée nose, with a faint strawberry fruitiness, and a light toasty, roasty note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate, with a fruity raspberry, dark chocolatey character, with a roasty, smoky ashes accent, with a subtle black coffee note, a faint flowery hop leafiness, leading towards a raspberry, roasty bitterness finish.

A deep dark reddish porter with a thick moka head. A sweet chocolate raspberry and strawberry jam, nice and pungent. IN mouth, a sweet lactic chocolate, grassy, a bit short and lacking body. Bieropholie import.

On tap @ Sierra. Pors pretty dark with some hints of red. Overall great aroms which is the best part of it. Otherwise this is smooth light raspberry porter. Some hints of cocoa, nothing to blow me away tho.

A big disappointment to me, considering how much i liked the porter. The initial thought that this was going to be as good. It poured a heavy looking black hue with an off-white to beige head with nice lacing. aroma had nice roasted cocoa notes and some fruit notes, neither of them really wowed me on the flavor. I found the roasted notes on the porter side a little light. I also could not get a really good feel of the raspberries. My first bottle was cold and the second warmed up a bit, so that probably affected the flavor. Beer still could have been more.

Bottle at Smokeless Joe, Toronto, July 2008. Poured dark brown with a relatively fragrant head: aromas of chocolate, raspberry. I could taste chocolate with a pleasant hint of raspberry, which compliments well, also a bit of nuttiness.
