Jan 9, 2009 Pour is a blonde with a bit of a white head. Aroma is artificial raspberry with a lot of sugar. Flavor is a fizzy berry fruit with a sourness at the end. Its another wheat beer with fruit extract added. This brewer makes sooooo many other outstanding beers I’m just going to forget this incident ever happened.

Dec 28, 2008 Crystal clear pale yellow with wispy white head. Nose is overwhelming sweet raspberry, but the flavor is more muted. Some wheatiness and dry finish. I was okay with this actually.

Dec 15, 2008 12 oz. bottle, from Southern Tier Variety Pak. Though I’ve been utterly impressed by almost any raspberry wheat, I gotta say this one resented me with some fresh raspberry smell upon opening, instead of raspberry syrup. But after that start, I find myself agreeing with the consensus. Pour offers a brief bit of head over a clear lager color. Watery soda texture masks any malt character and just comes in like a seltzer with fruit flavored syrup. I just don’t get this. I thought these guys had a good reputation.

Dec 13, 2008 Bottle. Pour is a clear gold with little head and aromas that are reminiscent of apple and raspberry juices mixed together. Flavor is a mixture of a watery wheat beer that has been heavily filtered and some understated raspberry juice concentrate. There is something that is not quite right here... almost medicinal or astringent. Aftertaste is blech.

Dec 12, 2008 Bottle from ilovedarkbeer. Pours a clear yellow with a small white ring, barely. aroma of raspberry seltzer or Raspberry Clearly Canadian soda. Taste is seltzer, astringent wheat, and fake raspberry. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.
