Great raspberry taste, a very refreshing wheat beer. Would buy again ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 23, 2008 Clear golden with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and extracty with berries. Berry carries over into the flavor, but it is not as sweet as the aroma would suggest with a bit of grainy astringency. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Very clear, light straw with little head. well carbonated. Big raspberry aroma. Raspberry dominates flavor with fairly high hop bitterness.
Light dry mouthfeel with some residual hop bitterness in the finish. Well crafted fruit beer, I am just not a big fan of the style. Brigadier (1230), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA

This was an unexpected dud from Southern Tier. Fortunately I was only saddled with two bottles as part of a sampler. Unlike the raspberry porter which is palatable this is like an experiment in fruit beers gone awry. Avoid it unless you want to know how not to make a summer fruit release.
Aroma / Appearance - The transparent golden body was the best quality of this beer. The nose was one smell only - raspberry Splenda. While not quite as horrible as the Polish equivalent this was pretty close.
Flavor / Palate - Lemonade made from Nutrasweet washed over the tongue and soon faded (thankfully). There was little wheat or raspberry to be found. If there were truth on the label this would actually be called ’Nonraspberry wheat beer’. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Huge raspberry aroma with faint wheat hints. Sweet raspberry flavor with something lurking around in the finish. Medium light body with moderate carbonation, but still some carbonic bite.
