Aroma is yeast, slightly malty and sort of some raspberry. Flavor is much the same. Overall, this is very thin and watery. Not much raspberry and not much wheat. I am glad I did not actually buy this bottle. MrBeerFanatic (356), jamestown, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 12, 2008 I was not at all a big fan of this one. Its very weak in taste(watery). The taste of the raspberries don’t come out at you like good fruit beers should. It was just to artifical of a taste for me. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA

Poured a tiny bit of an off-white head that mostly lasted, virtually no lacing, transparent, and a yellow hue. The nose was sweet, raspberries, sour, tart, and hint of pale malt. Copy that for the flavor. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Too raspberry tasting for my liking. Not a beer I want again. jsquire (2100), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 30, 2008 Golden yellow color out of the 12 oz bottle with a thin white head. The smell reminded me of a raspberry popsicle. Light malty sweetness that was just pummeled by the raspberry flarvors. At least is wasn’t a nasty artificial raspberry but still too overpowering for me. GregClow (2495), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Bottle sample at Southern Tier beer dinner, Academy of Spherical Arts. Light yellow-gold with a small white head. Attractive aroma of sweet raspberry jam with a faint herbal note. Crisp, refreshing body. Pleasant flavour of fresh raspberries with light malt and hop notes to balance. Definitely one of the better fruit wheats I’ve tried. yesyouam (589), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Southern Tier Raspberry Wheat Beer is a clear, sparkling straw colored ale with a thin white head that fades to a film and leaves nice lacing. The aroma is dominated with raspberry candy with a touch of herbal hops and light grain. It is smooth and medium-light bodied with a crisp finish. The flavor is like the aroma: raspberry, herbal hops and light grain. It’s well balanced, perhaps a bit heavy on the fruity candy flavor but nice and simple after some yard work on a hot day. freekyp (900), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Thin bodied American wheat with a potent raspberry aroma and watery mouthfeel. If the raspberry were not present, there would be little else in the way of flavor. A bit of hoppiness in the aftertaste is your only reminder that this is a beer and not an unusually bready juice. Its not my first pick for a fruit beer. EricE (456), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Clear pale yellow pour with a little head. Intense almost syrupy raspberry aroma - very sweet and overpowering. The flavor is much more balanced. Raspberry, but not overpowering and just the right amount of sweetness. A little bit of malt, hops, and yeast to finish. Good and refreshing.
