12oz bottle poured amber with full head. Aromas of wheat straw and fruit mainly raspberry. Heavy cloying sweetness with a fruity taste. Body is light to medium with a sweet finish. A good chick brew

I’m not a big fan of berry beers, but am always willing to try another, especially when it’s from a prolific brewery like Southern Tier. Projects a radiant golden color with excellent clarity. Smells distinctively of raspberry, oh so sweeeet. Based on the aroma I’d expect the flavor to be dominantly berry. However, the taste is like a pilsner with only a dash of raspberry. Crisp and refreshing, slightly tart, with a dry finish. Bit skunky in the end. Light body, feels a bit watered down. I’d pass this onto a girlfriend, unless paired with the right food.

Clear light straw color with a small head that laces, the beer also displays active carbonation. Wonderfully sweet rasberry aroma so intesnse and noticable. You can also catch honey and wheat in the aroma and maybe the slightest hops. In a blind smell test you would know this is a berry drink immediatley. "Dude, where’s my rasberry?" you may state when taking your first sip. Taste is light and crisp, like a lager and if your patient you can start to make out the berry flavor. There’s no hops to this but the taste is so light it doesn’t call for it. Its a suble fruit beer and in the end, it satisfies but doesn’t astonish.

Davvero pessima, mi chiedo perchè al 4:20 gira questa birra? Ho fatto fatica a finirne un bicchiere da 35cl!

This is actually not as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. Easy drinking with some raspberry sweetness throughout

12oz bottle. I make no allusions that this isn’t their best beer, however it’s highly drinkable. I really did enjoy it. Reminds me more of a refreshing raspberry water beverage than a beer. It will probably be better once the weather warms up even more.

Pours with a nearly non-existent head and leaves very little lacing behind. Looks like a pilsner with light carbonation. the nose is entirely of raspberries. I was hoping for some wheat action at some point but there’s nothing. Finish is non existent. Very boring beer.

Originally rated August 2009. Second beer that I have had from Southern Tier, and I really enjoyed their IPA. I like raspberry wheat brews so lets see what this one has to offer. Not much actually. Flat, small white head, not much lacing, not much retention, hardly hazy and plain yellow colour. Smelt good raspberry from the bottle, but once poured, the fruit seems to go into space. Nowhere to be found (might I add). Mild malt is all I smell now. Watery mouthfeel, and hardly any fruit in the taste as well. Maybe a little tart and lemon zest in the aftertaste. Refreshing maybe, just like water is, on a hot summer day. I guess I am disappointed in this one. Was expecting so much more. Will have to wait for the next ST the LCBO imports.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 Aroma is raspberries and a grainy maltiness The flavor is malty and a medium raspberry flavor. Not incredible in flavor, still pretty decent.
