Commercial Description:
A golden wheat beer brewed with the finest North American malted barley and wheat. It’s then lightly hopped with the choicest European varieties. This smooth, crisp golden wheat beer is then finished with a hint of raspberry. Enjoy this beer any time of year.

Bottle. This is a transparent golden colour with a one inch white head. Aroma of raspberry bubblegum. Mouthfeel is quite thin, a bit spritzy. This tastes a bit like a raspberry fountain pop, or like a slurpee minus the ice. I taste some wheat with raspberry syrup flavour, some light hops. Finish is short.

12 oz bottle: Pours a lightly hazed gold ale in the wheat glass. Smallish white cap with modest lacing. Aromas are promising biscuity, straw and ample berry perfumes, dominate the nose. Fairly light on the palate, biscuity wheat malts light hop herbalness but the unmalted wheat and berry tartness gang up to dry up the drink in the finish. Nice dry refreshing drink for a summer patio but seeing how there is no berry color in the brew I suspect essence was used instead of raw fruit and the whole formula dashed together for a quick summer seasonal. Not bad but certainly not ST’s best effort.

355 ml bottle - pours a very light clear greenish gold with a thin head. Aroma of raspberry juice and pale malt. Nice. However, the raspberry that is comes across as "natural" in the aroma comes across as very artificial, almost like fluoride in the flavour. There’s a touch of hop bitterness in the finish, and that strange faux-raspberry taste lingers too long. All in all, a decent enough fruit beer, but not one I’ll revisit.

Clear golden with quickly disappearing white head. Raspberry aroma. Raspberry perfume taste, not my cup of tea. Where’s the wheat?

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow color with a large, fizzy white head that dissipated to a thin head and lasted throughout. Little to no lacing on the glass. The aroma is of raspberries, pure raspberries. Flavor is initially raspberries, followed by a slight malty sweetness and closes with a bitter, dry finish. Light bodied. Highly carbonated.

A 0.355L bottle from K-Citymarket. Mild raspberry nose. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour. Quite foamy one. Mild raspberry taste. Aromatic. Some hints of raspberry seed.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, and also a light acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and berries. The mouthfeel is very smooth, but the body a bit light.

#25 - Amerikaner Blind-Smagning 12-Jun-2009 hos Papsoe. Bottle. Clear amber - white head. Raspberries, juice, marmalade, high sweetness, wheaty, light grass, fruity, light bitterness, saftevand. Boring.
